How to Print Quote in Landscape in QwikQuote
In most of cases, you print the current quote in QwikQuote the leading quoting software and invoice software in Portrait. However, if you have a large number of columns to display in a quote, you can choose to print them in Landscape so that all columns can be shown in one page instead of split them into 2 or more pages. In some other cases, you may only want the print the quote item sheet pages in Landscape, but leave the cover pages and ending pages in the Portrait for most of cases those information pages are designed in the portrait layout in your business quoting software and invoice software.
You can set to
print quote in Landscape in the quoting software and invoice software
system by 1st press the big Layout button if
you choose to use big buttons or press the small Layout button
if
you choose to use small buttons on the top of the QwikQuote windows to switch
the main display to the Layout window, and then press the Property
button
to
bring up the Layout Properties dialog window, and then on the Layout
Properties dialog window you can press the Paper Orientation icon to change
the Paper Orientation in the quotation software and invoice software
system.
When it is in Landscape, the button icon looks like instead
of Portrait icon looks like
such as screenshot shown below.
Note: If the button is disabled, then you need to
press the Page Property button to
show the Layout Page Properties dialog
and check the Use Windows Printer Default Settings checkbox.
Otherwise, you need to set paper direction separately on the dialog.
Normally, you
should consider how to use your layout before you design and modify your layout
in the quoting software and invoice software system in either Portrait or
Landscape. Also, you might consider to use different paper size to handler the
quote column display issue in a layout. If you need to changes this print property
afterward, the usual cases are to change only the sheet pages in the layout of
your quoting software and invoice software system. In this case, you can press
the Page Properties on
the Layout Properties dialog window to bring up the Layout Page
Properties dialog window, and then set the paper orientation differently
with Cover Pages, Quote (Sheet) Pages, and Ending
Pages. Such as the screenshot shown below:
The default
setting values of our sales quoting software and invoice software are the same
as Windows Default Printer paper tray settings. If you need to use different
paper settings other than Windows default printer settings in your quoting
software and invoice software system, you have to uncheck the checkbox
first.
Note: After you make print paper direction change, you need to check the
layout design
so that the objects on each page will fit correctly on the display
surfaces.
